Recipes Using Castile Soap

Make your own products using castile soap

Here are some simple recipes using our castile soap as a base with our essential oils.

Our Castile soap is made with sunflower and coconut oil and contains no harsh foaming ingredients. Castile soaps are the mildest and most moisturising of all soap bases, they are mild and gentle enough to use on a baby's skin.

Castile soap is detergent free so it will not produce a lot of sudsy lather. It is a great alternative to the more commonly used synthetic petroleum based soap products.

All the recipes below are based on 100mls of castile liquid soap.

Use a 2% ratio of essential oils (approx) and 1% or less for the baby & pet recipes.
So you could try using other essential oils if you prefer.

2% ratio = 40 drops total of essential oil + 100ml castile soap.

Note : 20 drops of essential oil equals approx 1ml

Store all the below recipes in dark bottles out of heat and sunlight.
Shake bottle gently after combining ingredients. Use as needed.

Please read our essential oil safety information prior to use.
