Here are a couple of foot soak recipe ideas using essential oils.
A foot soak is a nice way to get those toosies clean before an aromatherapy massage or just a way to ease aching feet or to relax. You could use different essential oils, these are just suggestions. The flower petals etc are optional, but they do make the foot soak even more appealing.

Floral Foot Soak
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons sea salt
- 1/2 cup Epsom salts
- 1 tablespoon sodium bicarbonate ( or baking soda )
- 8 drops lavender essential oil
- 4 drops rose essential oil
- 4 drops cedarwood essential oil
- 2 drops patchouli essential oil
- 7 litres of hot water (approx or fill foot tub)
- 1 tablespoon rose petals (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lavender flowers (optional)
Directions: dissolve ingredients in hot water, put in the drops of the essential oils just prior to soaking, swish through water and then sprinkle the flower petals on top.

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons sea salt
- 1/2 cup Epsom salts
- 1 tablespoon sodium bicarbonate ( or baking soda )
- 8 drops peppermint essential oil
- 8 drops lemon essential oil
- 7 litres of hot water (or fill foot tub)
- 1 handful of peppermint leaves (optional)
- lemon slices (optional)
Directions: dissolve ingredients in hot water, put in the drops of the essential oils just prior to soaking, swish through water and then place peppermint and lemon slices on top.
