Weekly Top Picks! : Skincare Products

Usually I post the 'Weekly Top Picks' on Mondays but I was a bit late this week due to family commitments. I will extend the discount coupon offer.

This weeks top picks I have chosen because they are 3 of my favourite skincare products which I use on a daily basis.

 

1. Face Cream - Rose & Frankincense

"This luxurious damask rose and frankincense face cream is light in texture and feels non greasy. Ideal for all skin types but of particular benefit to aging or dry skin. Also contains skin loving carrot seed oil. A little of this cream goes a long way. Will make your skin feel silky soft". I use this moisturiser every morning after my shower. I love it because it is light wearing and leaves my skin is feeling so soft without an oily residue. A perfect daily moisturiser.

2. Lip Serum - Vanilla & Rose

"Protect your lips with this nourishing and natural roll on lip gloss serum. Infused with vanilla and very lightly scented with beautiful bulgarian rose absolute. This lip gloss is tinted using a natural merlot coloured mica powder". The more you apply the darker & glossier your lips will be. Can be worn for some colour or just used regularly to help moisturise your lips and prevent dryness. My lip serums are available in 3 different tints. Tinted lip balms also available.

3. Body Lotion - Lavender & Vanilla

"A light, non greasy and easily absorbed moisturising lotion that has been infused with vanilla bean extract and gently scented with calming lavender essential oil. A lovely lotion to apply before bed. Paraben Free. All natural plant based ingredients". I have been applying this cream every night before bed. The scent is heavenly and the lavender essential oil helps to promote a restful night sleep. It absorbs quickly into skin.

Weekly Top Picks! - Most Used Products

So this is a new blog feature that I've decided to try out each Monday. Now that my daughter is in day care I have a little more time for blog writing.

Each Monday I will post my Top 3 Aromatic Boutique products and also offer a discount coupon on those items. 

This weeks top picks I have chosen because they are my most loved products that I use most often. I hope you enjoy learning a little bit more about these products.

 

1. Roll On Blend - Good Night

The 'Good Night' roll on would have to be the one I use the most in assisting with sleep. I unfortunately have a lot of trouble falling asleep some nights with so many thoughts running through my brain! This is one of my main reasons for using aromatherapy. Sleep trouble would have to be the most common reason customers purchase from Aromatic Boutique. I personally respond very well to this blend.

Ten minutes or so before bed I will apply the roll on blend to my wrists, back of neck and chest so that the smell wafts up as I lie in bed. You may also like to roll a little of this blend on your pillow.

This blend is not your typical lavender scent. The roman chamomile, marjoram and mandarin give it that burst of fruitiness and sweetness. This blend is also available in a dilution for children here.

2. Face Oil - Rose & Frankincense

I tend to use this face oil right before I go to bed at night or when I find my skin is feeling in need of some extra moisture. Generally I only use about 6-8 drops over face and neck. The eye dropper makes it easy to apply a drop of the oil to your finger and massage into your face. A little of this face oil goes a long way.

I have sensitive skin and find this blend is gentle on my skin. After regular nightly use my skin is feeling a lot smoother and healthier looking. This blend has a gentle rose and frankincense scent that is not too overpowering. The oils in this blend have been chosen for their emollient properties and ability to improve skin elasticity.


3. Essential Oil Blend - Goddess

This is currently my favourite essential oil blend. It's so feminine. When at home I like to diffuse this blend. When I am out I also wear the roll on or perfume balm in this blend as I can't get enough! (I have included these in the discount also) Many people comment when I wear this blend. It's scent has a certain earthiness to it from the clary sage but then the sweetness of the geranium rose comes through.

I created this blend originally to help assist with symptoms of PMS. I personally find using this blend leading up to the 'time of the month' is most beneficial. It also helps to assist me with those unfortunate mood swings that like to show their ugly face. I also apply the roll on to my pelvic region to help assist with cramps.

Being an anxiety sufferer this blend has also been of benefit for me. When I am feeling bouts of anxiety or feeling low I will add a few drops to an ultrasonic diffuser or I apply the roll on to my wrists and take deep slow breathes. It's calming but not too sedating that I can wear it or diffuse it during the day. Aside for all the wonderful therapeutic benefits this blend possesses, it can be worn purely as a perfume.
